Anna Engine Plant Initial EV Battery Case Inspection
A Honda associate at the Anna Engine Plant (AEP) in Ohio completes the initial inspection of one-half of the EV battery case after it was megacast using a 6,000-ton high-pressure die cast machine, a global first for Honda. AEP is the largest Honda engine plant in the world and is now taking on additional responsibilities including the megacasting of the EV battery case that will house the battery pack that powers Honda and Acura EVs made at the Honda EV Hub. The Anna Engine Plant will mark its 40th anniversary of engine production this year.
