| Describe the cause: The drive shafts were assembled with a lubricant that accelerates degradation of the drive shafts’ protective coating, increasing the susceptibility to damage from road debris. This damage can allow de-icing agents to accumulate and cause corrosion. |

As of June 20, 2025, Honda has received 10 warranty claims, with zero reports of injury or death related to this issue in Canada. |
Identify the Remedy

Describe the defect / noncompliance remedy program, including the manufacturer’s plan for reimbursement: Registered owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. The dealer will inspect the drive shaft for corrosion and replace the part, if determined necessary. Owners who have paid to have these repairs completed at their own expense may be eligible for reimbursement. |
