Honda Canada Inc. is pleased to announce that effective April 1, 2025, Dave Jamieson, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Jean Marc Leclerc as President and Chief Executive Officer. Jean Marc Leclerc, who has dedicated nearly 40 years to the automotive industry, including 30 years with Honda Canada, will be retiring. As the fourth consecutive Canadian to be named President and CEO, Jamieson’s appointment ensures the continuity of local leadership and will further strengthen Honda Canada's position as a leader in the automotive industry.
Leclerc's journey with Honda Canada began in 1995, and over the past three decades, he held numerous senior leadership roles across all divisions, including Honda, Acura, Motorcycle and Power Equipment, and Honda Financial Services. Since being named President and CEO in May 2020, his leadership and vision were instrumental in navigating a post-pandemic environment.
