Honda of Canada Mfg. to build the All-New 2023 CR-V and CR-V Hybrid

CR-V will mark the first hybrid vehicle production for Honda in Canada

Honda Canada Inc. is proud to announce that Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM) has been selected to manufacture the all-new 2023 CR-V and CR-V Hybrid. HCM is the global lead manufacturing plant for the Honda Civic and now, the North American lead for CR-V. This is incredibly significant for Honda in Canada, as these are two of the most important models representing Honda Canada’s product portfolio. The CR-V and CR-V Hybrid will continue to also be produced in plants in the U.S. (Indiana and Ohio).

As Honda Canada continues to communicate its approach to electrification and future business, a successful 2023 CR-V and CR-V Hybrid launch in Canada will be foundational in transitioning into the future. HCM will continue to be a key component of Honda’s manufacturing plans in North America for years to come.

More information will be made available in the coming weeks.
