Honda Canada is pleased to advise its Canadian 2015 Honda CR-V customers that vehicle enhancements, which are detailed in the terms of settlement of certain U.S. class actions,* are available at Canadian dealers to 2015 Honda CR-V owners and lessees in Canada. These product enhancements have been available to customers since November 2015.
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. has received preliminary court approval in the United States of a settlement of certain class actions involving allegations of unwanted vibrations on certain 2015 Honda CR-V models.* Final approval of the U.S. class actions is expected in late 2018.
Honda Canada would like to assure its Canadian customers that any vehicle enhancements available to owners and lessees of the applicable 2015 Honda CR-V vehicles in the U.S., which relate to the subject matter of the U.S. class actions, have been extended to owners and lessees of 2015 Honda CR-V vehicles in Canada.
These enhancements, if required, are free-of-charge subject to the terms of the vehicle’s warranty.
In addition to having vehicle enhancements available, Honda Canada also intends to take steps to provide further notifications regarding the availability of these enhancements to certain customers in Canada.
Honda Canada is taking these steps in recognition of the importance to Honda Canada of the satisfaction of its Canadian 2015 Honda CR-V customers.
