The 2012 Pilot
The stylishly rugged Honda Pilot doesn't just stand out – it breaks free. With a standard integrated hitch, a spacious cabin for up to eight passengers and the highest fuel economy for any mid-size 4WD SUV, the Pilot becomes the perfect blend between car-like precision and rock-like stability.
Power comes from an advanced 24-valve, all-aluminum engine with "intelligent" Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (i-VTEC) technology with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM). Able to haul 4,500 lbs, Pilot also features a Variable Torque Management® 4-wheel drive system (VTM-4®) that anticipates the need for all-wheel drive and automatically engages the rear wheels whenever the vehicle is accelerating.
Besides its substantial towing capabilities, the Pilot has the feel of a luxury SUV with an air of modern sophistication with all of the expected safety and technology features that Honda customers have come to expect.
