Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) will display a dozen racing machines at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (Nov. 3-6) – including special vehicle builds, historic race cars, championship winning motocross bikes, an all-new electrified Trophy Truck and – making its North American debut – the Honda Civic Type R HRC Concept.
First shown at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Civic Type R HRC Concept is being developed by incorporating HRC technologies and the expertise of its racing drivers. This HRC-spec concept model offers a further refined "joy of driving" unique to Honda honed at the forefront of racing environments. Today, Honda confirmed the model is in development for the U.S. and Canadian market.
HRC has been a driving force in motorsports since its founding in 1982, building on the racing spirit that has taken Honda and Acura to the top of the world's greatest podiums. Company founder, Soichiro Honda, a former racer himself, believed in competition as a means to improve the company, its people and its products. As a result, racing is ingrained in the Honda corporate culture more than any other automobile manufacturer.
For the first time, HRC merchandise will be for sale directly to SEMA attendees from the HRC booth.

Following final performance and durability testing, including extensive evaluation at Germany's famed Nürburgring, HRC Performance Parts will be offered through Honda and Acura automobile dealerships and the Honda DreamShop in the United States beginning in March 2027.
HRC will continue to expand the portfolio of HRC Performance Parts and also will showcase prototypes of future parts at SEMA, including adjustable coilovers with camber plates and a large Brembo brake kit with six-piston calipers.
HRC Merchandise & Memorabilia
For the first time, the HRC display at SEMA also will offer fans and collectors the opportunity to own a wide range of authentic, high-quality HRC memorabilia and merchandise, including ultra-limited collectibles from the company's storied legacy in motorsport and the latest apparel from the HRC Originals collection.
Genuine engine components from the McLaren MP4/5B driven by Gerhard Berger in the 1990 German Grand Prix will be available, including piston and connecting rod assemblies, camshafts, valves, a camshaft cover and more. Each part from the race-used RA100E, the last Honda V10 Formula One engine, is beautifully housed in a bespoke display case, accompanied by an original HRC certificate of authenticity.
Additionally, a one-of-a-kind jewelry collection crafted from the engine's smaller components will be featured at SEMA. The collection was created in collaboration with B.L.S. Co. Ltd., combining HRC's racing heritage with the silver craftsmanship of Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture — one of Japan's leading jewelry-making regions, with the pieces paying homage to the ethos and racing machines of HRC and the power of Japanese manufacturing.
HRC also will offer premium scale models of the legendary Honda RA272 (chassis #103) Formula One race car, honoring the very car that won Honda its first F1 victory at the 1965 Mexico Grand Prix. Offered at SEMA in 1:18 scale, these meticulously crafted collectors' items are produced in partnership with Amalgam Collection and feature authentic painted livery, hand-built bodywork, and precisely engineered parts including a fully replicated Honda V12 engine.
