The Sport-L trim further increasing the appeal and value for money of Canada's best-selling compact car1. Slotting between the Civic LX and Sport Hybrid models, the first-ever Civic Sport-L stands out with premium features previously exclusive to hybrid trims, including leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated rear seats, and dual-zone climate control for Hatchback.
Pricing for the 2027 Honda Civic lineup continues to begin with the very well-equipped Civic LX starting at $29,090. The new Civic Sport-L, powered by a refined and fuel-efficient 2.0-liter engine, starts at $33,550. The hybrid-electric 2027 Civic Sport Hybrid starts at $36,600.
Long recognized for its incredible value for money, the average new-vehicle transaction price for Civic this year, including hybrid models, is below the industry's average used-vehicle transaction price. Civic hybrid, the 2025 North American Car of the Year, accounts for 50% of all Civic sales this year.
"The Civi c's success in Canada comes down to something simple: Canadians trust it," said Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President, Honda Canada. "For generations, Civic has delivered the quality, dependability, value and innovation our customers expect from Honda. And as a vehicle built right here in Canada, we're especially proud of the role Civic plays in supporting Canadian jobs, families and communities. The new Civic Sport-L builds on that legacy, adding more of the premium features customers are looking for while keeping the style, comfort and practicality that have made Civic such an important part of the Canadian market."
Honda is also adding more value to the Civic Sport Touring Hybrid with the addition of Honda S+ Shift, a technology pioneered on the 2026 Honda Prelude. An innovative new drive mode, Honda S+ Shift simulates a performance transmission for the ultimate electrified Honda driving experience, including virtual rev-matched downshifts and gear holding, plus enhanced engine sounds to increase driver sensory connection with the vehicle.
A gateway to the Honda brand, the award-winning 11th-generation Civic is Canada's most popular vehicle with Gen Z, first-time buyers and multicultural customers2. The Honda Civic has achieved the title of best-selling passenger car in Canada for 26 of the past 28 years with approximately 2.3 million sold in Canada since 1973.
