Honda Canada is voluntarily recalling 6,632, 2023 to 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid vehicles that may have incorrect software programming.
Due to improper software programming by a supplier, the Integrated Control Module (ICM) may reset while the vehicle is in operation, which can cause loss of power while driving, increasing the risk of a collision or injury.
Registered owners of all affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. The dealer will reprogram the ICM with improved software.
Honda Canada is announcing this recall to encourage owners of affected vehicles to take them to an authorized dealer for repair as soon as they receive notification.
Owners of these vehicles can also determine if their vehicles require repair by visiting www.Honda.ca/recalls and inputting their VIN, or by calling 1-888-946-6329.
