Honda Canada will voluntarily recall approximately 12,000 vehicles in Canada for a free inspection and, if necessary, the repair of the fuel pipe that may have been improperly assembled.
Specifically, some vehicles may have an incomplete connection between the fuel filler neck tube and fuel filler pipe that could cause the two components to separate in case of a crash, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of a fire.
Registered owners of all affected models will be contacted by mail in January 2025 and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer for a free inspection. The dealer will connect the fuel filler neck tube to the fuel filler pipe if it is found that they were not properly connected.
Honda Canada is announcing this recall to encourage owners of affected vehicles to take them to an authorized dealer for repair as soon as they receive notification.
