Honda Canada and the Toronto Blue Jays celebrate Connect with the Jays Night at Rogers Centre

Spirited Toronto Blue Jays fans packed the sold out Rogers Centre on Friday night for Connect with the Jays Night, presented by Honda. The home team won the ballgame and three lucky Toronto Blue Jays fans won fabulous Honda prizes, giving them even more reason to celebrate.

Melissa Albright of Meadowvale, Saskatchewan won a brand new Canadian-built 2015 Honda Civic EX coupe on Friday night, while Lauren Rea of Milton, Ontario and Brittney Dzsudzsak of Hamilton, Ontario each took home a Honda lawnmower.

As a proud supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays for more than 35 years, Honda Canada will award more than $115,000 worth of Honda automobiles and power equipment to lucky baseball fans throughout the 2015 regular season, including a Honda lawnmower at each one of the 81 home games.

"Connect with the Jays Night is about connecting the players with the fans.  At Honda, we also understand the importance of connecting our brand with our customers and we do this by offering Canadians quality products and exceptional customer service," said Dave Gardner, senior vice president of operations, Honda Canada Inc. "The Blue Jays are Canada's baseball team and the Honda Civic is Canada's car, so we're very proud to partner with the Jays throughout such an exciting season."
