Building on the exciting mixed reality virtual 2021 Honda Civic Tour, R&B singer-songwriting powerhouse and Civic Tour headliner H.E.R. today revealed her custom-designed Honda Civic Type R: https://honda.us/CivicTourHER. Expressing her distinct and personal sense of style, H.E.R.’s custom Civic Type R continues the tradition of past Civic Tour headliners in designing a custom Honda Civic.
H.E.R. recently delivered the first-ever, virtual Honda Civic Tour for 2021, where fans got a special first look at the all-new 2022 Honda Civic Sedan. The second ‘Remix’ Civic Tour stop will be announced in the coming weeks, with additional special content awaiting Civic Tour fans.
H.E.R. Custom Civic Type R
The custom-designed Civic Type R is a reflection of H.E.R.’s personal values of embracing nuance, exploring subtlety and sharing your heart. H.E.R. brought these values to life in the Civic Type R design by utilizing a deep black matte finish color scheme and highlighting the exterior with chameleon-tinted headlamps and windows, purple brake calipers and nebula painted trim. Inside the cabin, H.E.R.’s Type R also incorporates nebula painted accents and features special LED interior lighting that changes colors based on music and sound inside the vehicle by featuring custom colors, moods, brightness levels and rotating color patterns, adjustable by a smartphone.
“One of the things that drew me toward the Honda Civic Tour was knowing that I’d be able to design my own vehicle, and out of all Civics, I picked the pinnacle Civic Type R,” said H.E.R. “Infusing my personality into all aspects of my performances, and also expressing it through my favorite products, is something that I am passionate about. So being able to create and share my custom Honda Civic Type R with my fans is just so special to me.”
H.E.R.’s custom Civic Type R joins Honda vehicles designed by past Civic Tour headliners, including Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Demi Lovato, blink-182, Black Eyed Peas, One Direction, Charlie Puth and more.
