The Next-Generation Honda Pilot Touches Down at Dealerships Across Canada
The crown jewel of Honda's truck lineup, the new 2016 Honda Pilot, arrives at dealerships across Canada today.
The 2016 Pilot comes equipped with a more powerful direct injected 3.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC® Earth Dreams™ Technology engine producing 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, and new 6-speed and available 9-speed automatic transmissions. Providing outstanding dynamic handling are a new Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4™) AWD System and all-new selectable Intelligent Traction Management system featuring Normal, Mud, Sand, and Snow modes on the AWD models. The new Pilot also offers available Honda Sensing™ suite of safety and driver assistive technologies that include Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The 2016 Pilot trims available include LX, EX, EX-L, EX-L RES, EX-L Navi and Touring. Honda Sensing™ is available on the LX AWD trim and standard on EX trims and above.
