MARKHAM, ON (September 1, 2015) – Combined September sales of 17,277 units by the Honda and Acura divisions of Honda Canada Inc. represented an 11% increase over last year’s sales and the second consecutive month surpassing the 17,000 unit mark. The Honda Automobile Division reported August sales of 15,482 units, up 10% over last year. The Acura Division reported August sales of 1,795 units, up 23% over last year.

“The market continues to rush toward trucks and Honda has a strong product line-up to satisfy Canadian consumer appetite,” said Dave Gardner, senior vice president of operations, Honda Canada Inc. “Honda CR-V posted its third straight monthly record and its fourth in five months, while the redesigned Pilot led the charge in August, posting its fifth consecutive monthly record and an all-time monthly record.”

“Acura RDX captured yet another sales record in August, as it continues to resonate with luxury customers.  We’re pleased with the continued demand for TLX, as sedans are an integral part of Acura’s success.”
